Standard Warranty:

All of our trees and shrubs come with a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery. FAQ

How are heights measured?

Tree and Shrub heights are measured from the top of the root ball or soil, measuring only the above ground portion of your tree or shrub.

Description

The Jacob Helleborus, also known as Helleborus niger, is a captivating perennial plant that brings elegance and beauty to your garden year-round. This exquisite winter-blooming gem is perfect for adding a touch of charm to your landscape.

Key Features:

1. Stunning Winter Blooms: Jacob Helleborus is renowned for its striking, pure white, cup-shaped flowers that appear during the winter months, making it a true marvel in your winter garden. These blossoms are sure to brighten up your landscape even in the darkest days.

2. Versatile Growing Zones: Jacob Helleborus is a versatile plant that thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-9. This means it can be cultivated in a wide range of regions, from colder northern climates to milder southern areas.

3. Low Maintenance: If you're looking for a low-maintenance addition to your garden, Jacob Helleborus is an ideal choice. It's a hardy perennial that requires minimal care, making it perfect for both experienced gardeners and beginners.

Basic Care Tips:

1. Planting: Choose a location with well-draining soil and partial to full shade. Jacob Helleborus prefers a slightly acidic soil pH but can adapt to various soil types. Dig a hole about twice the size of the root ball and place the plant at the same depth it was in the container.

2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during the growing season in spring and early summer. However, be cautious not to overwater, as Helleborus prefers slightly drier conditions during winter.

3. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers, as they can promote excessive foliage growth at the expense of flowers.

4. Pruning: Remove spent blooms and any damaged or yellowing leaves to keep the plant looking its best. Pruning is typically done in late winter or early spring.

5. Winter Protection: While Jacob Helleborus is winter-hardy, a layer of mulch can help protect the roots and maintain moisture during cold spells.

6. Pests and Diseases: Helleborus is generally resistant to pests and diseases, making it a low-maintenance choice. However, it's always a good practice to monitor for any issues and address them promptly if they arise.
