Show-Stopping Foliage: Spot On Lungwort boasts eye-catching silvery-green leaves adorned with striking, silvery-white spots, making it a standout feature in any garden.
Brilliant Blooms: In early spring, this perennial plant reveals charming clusters of funnel-shaped flowers in shades of pink, purple, or blue, creating a delightful contrast to its unique foliage.
Low-Maintenance: Perfect for both novice and experienced gardeners, Spot On Lungwort requires minimal upkeep, making it an excellent choice for busy gardeners.
Shade-Loving: Thriving in partial to full shade, this lungwort variety is an excellent choice for those tricky shaded areas of your garden.
Basic Care Tips:
Planting: Choose a well-draining, humus-rich soil for your Spot On Lungwort. Plant in the spring or early fall for optimal growth. Ensure it receives the right amount of shade, as too much sun can scorch its delicate leaves.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Regular, deep watering is ideal, especially during dry spells.
Mulching: Apply a layer of mulch to help maintain soil moisture and regulate the soil temperature. Mulch also assists in preventing weed growth around the plant.
Pruning: Remove spent flowers after blooming to encourage continuous growth and prevent self-seeding.
Fertilization: Feed your Spot On Lungwort with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth.
Pest and Disease Control: Lungworts are relatively resistant to pests and diseases. However, keeping an eye out for slugs and snails is a good practice. If you notice any infestations, use safe, organic pest control methods.
