Warranty & Returns

Standard Warranty:

All of our trees and shrubs come with a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery. This means that if your tree/shrub is damaged in shipment or if it dies within 30 days of your delivery, we will gladly offer a replacement or credit. Should you receive your tree/shrub during dormancy, and it does not emerge from dormancy by June 1st - the same replacement policy applies.

If, within this period, you notice any issues with the health or condition of your plants, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to provide a suitable solution.

1 Year Extended Warranty Option:

For added peace of mind, we offer a 1 year extended warranty option. You can choose to purchase an extended warranty for 12% of your cart total at the time of purchase. This extended warranty covers your trees and shrubs for 1 year from the date of delivery. If your tree/shrub dies within the extended warranty period, we will provide you with a replacement plant or issue store credit for the amount of your original purchase. Shipping fees are not included.

If you need to make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer support team at Support@GardensoftheWorld.com as soon as you notice any issues with your plant's health.
  • Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photos documenting the issue.
  • We may request additional photos or other information to assess the problem.
FAQ

How are heights measured?

Tree and Shrub heights are measured from the top of the root ball or soil, measuring only the above ground portion of your tree or shrub.

Description

Enhance your garden with the mesmerizing beauty of the Blue Indigo Baptisia Australis. Known for its striking indigo-blue spikes of flowers and elegant foliage, this perennial plant will be a star attraction in your outdoor space. Let's explore its unique features and essential care tips to help your garden flourish.

Key Features:

1. Gorgeous Indigo Blooms: The Blue Indigo Baptisia Australis is renowned for its enchanting, deep blue, lupine-like flowers that adorn your garden in late spring to early summer. These vibrant spikes create a stunning visual display and attract pollinators like bees and butterflies.

2. Hardy and Low-Maintenance: This native North American plant is easy to grow and incredibly low-maintenance. Once established, it's drought-tolerant and doesn't require frequent watering. It's a perfect choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.

3. Attractive Foliage: Beyond its striking blooms, the Blue Indigo Baptisia Australis features beautiful blue-green foliage that remains ornamental throughout the season. Its distinct, clover-like leaves make it an appealing addition to any garden.

4. Thrives in Multiple Growing Zones: Baptisia Australis is a versatile plant that thrives in USDA growing zones 3-9. This means it can be cultivated in a wide range of climates, from the chilly winters of zone 3 to the milder conditions of zone 9.

Care Tips:

1. Sunlight: Place your Blue Indigo Baptisia Australis in a location with full sun to light shade. It prefers at least 6 hours of sunlight per day for optimal growth and flowering.

2. Soil: Well-draining soil is essential for this plant. It can tolerate a variety of soil types, but it thrives in slightly alkaline, sandy, or loamy soils.

3. Watering: While it's drought-tolerant once established, water your Blue Indigo Baptisia regularly during its first growing season. Once mature, it can withstand dry spells.

4. Pruning: After flowering, you can trim back the spent flower spikes to encourage a more compact and bushy growth habit. Pruning also helps prevent self-seeding.

5. Pest and Disease Resistance: Baptisia Australis is relatively resistant to pests and diseases, making it an eco-friendly choice for your garden.

6. Divide and Propagate: Every 3-4 years, consider dividing mature plants to maintain their vigor and health. This is a great way to create additional plants for your garden or share with fellow gardening enthusiasts.
